If you’re a Disney fan who loves a good goal, you’ve probably heard of the Walt Disney World 4 Park Challenge. It’s a fun (and slightly ambitious!) way to spend a day at Walt Disney World, where you visit all four theme parks in a single day—and check off a few key milestones at each one.
The version we followed on May 4, 2025, was all about maximizing the Disney experience. To complete the challenge, we had to:
- Visit all four Disney parks in one day
- Use all types of Disney transportation
- Take a photo with each park’s icon
- Enjoy a snack at each park
- Ride or see one attraction in each park
We had the joy of attempting the challenge alongside some of our amazing clients who were at Disney the same week as we were. Together, we made some unforgettable memories. Here’s how it all played out:
Stop 1: Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Arrival Time: 10:30 AM
Transportation: Disney Bus (from Saratoga Springs for us; BoardWalk Inn for our clients)

We kicked off the day under a steady downpour—which meant waiting out the rain a bit before starting the challenge clock. But once we were in, the 4 Park Challenge was officially underway!
- Photo: Group picture in front of the Tree of Life

- Attraction: Kilimanjaro Safaris – because what better way to start than with a real-life safari through the savanna?

- Snack: A massive Na’vi-Sized Pretzel and the refreshing Night Blossom from Pongu Pongu in Pandora

Stop 2: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Transportation: Disney Bus
Hollywood Studios was our wildcard. Why? Because we visited on May the 4th—National Star Wars Day—and the park was packed with fans celebrating in Galaxy’s Edge.
- Photo: Group shot in front of the Chinese Theatre (although we debated Tower of Terror as the icon, but that would have taken more time to get over to the Tower!)

- Attraction: MuppetVision 3D – a nostalgic pick with a short wait and a chance to experience it one more time before it closes later this month

- Snack: The classic Wookie Cookie from Backlot Express (what else would you eat on Star Wars Day?)

Stop 3: EPCOT

Transportation: Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to International Gateway

After the crowds at Hollywood Studios, EPCOT gave us a little room to breathe—and eat. We took our time here, enjoying a more substantial lunch while still checking off our challenge items.
- Photo: Spaceship Earth, the unmistakable icon of EPCOT

- Attraction: Spaceship Earth (yes, we took the picture and rode it!)

- Snack: Liege Waffle (and a full lunch!) at Connections Eatery

Stop 4: Magic Kingdom

Transportation: Disney Monorail (via transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center)

Magic Kingdom was our final park of the day, and we arrived ready to celebrate. We even took a quick break before diving into the last challenge tasks, and during that time, I (David) was able to head into City Hall where a few magical Cast Members personalized the celebration buttons for our entire group to signify our accomplishment for the day. That kind of Disney magic can’t be beat!

- Photo: Cinderella Castle, of course!

- Attraction: Haunted Mansion – spooky and iconic & a group favorite

- Snack: A warm, gooey cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern (pro tip: grab a fork, knife and a napkin – lots of napkins!)

BONUS TRANSPORTATION: Disney Boat System
The challenge technically ended around 6:30 PM, but there was still one form of Disney transportation we hadn’t used: the boat! So, to cap off our day (and head to our dinner reservation), we boarded the boat from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for dinner at ’Ohana. And just like that, every mode of Disney transportation was checked off our list.
