From September 20–27, 2025, we had the privilege of sailing aboard the Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, on a 7-Night Western Caribbean itinerary. After months of anticipation, we can honestly say the experience exceeded every expectation. It’s our new favorite Disney ship! From the moment we stepped onboard until the final farewell, the ship lived up to its name, every moment felt like discovering a treasure.

First Impressions of the Disney Treasure
Walking into the Grand Hall of the Disney Treasure was pure magic. The space is inspired by adventure and discovery, with golden tones, jewel accents, and beloved Disney characters woven into the design. Every detail invites you to look closer, like hidden nods to Aladdin and Jasmine (the Grand Hall’s signature characters) that reward keen eyes.
This ship feels both familiar for Disney Cruise fans and refreshingly new, with imaginative theming that celebrates exploration and storytelling.
Stateroom Experience

Our stateroom, a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah was spacious, beautifully themed, and designed with comfort in mind. We have stayed in a like room category on the Disney Wish in 2023, but this theming just seemed far more inviting. Disney Cruise Line always shines here, split bathrooms, smart storage, and thoughtful touches that make it easy to relax after a day of adventure. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, a family, or a multigenerational group, stateroom options on the Treasure fit a wide range of needs.
Here is a tour of our stateroom.
Dining Delights
Dining on the Disney Treasure was a true highlight. Rotational dining took us through three uniquely themed restaurants:
- Plaza de Coco – A vibrant Coco-themed restaurant with lively singing performances during the dinner.
- Worlds of Marvel – A superhero-inspired dining adventure where the story unfolds around your table. The first night we were entertained by Ant-Man & Wasp. The second visit was Baby Groot & Rocket.
- 1923 – An elegant, old-Hollywood-style restaurant that celebrates Disney’s legacy while serving some of the best cuisine at sea.

Of course, we also couldn’t resist the specialty coffee & tea spot (Cove Cafe), quick-service treats on the pool deck, and the always-magical soft-serve ice cream.
Entertainment & Activities
No Disney cruise is complete without show-stopping entertainment, and the Treasure delivers. Broadway-style productions, deck parties, and movies under the stars brought out the kid in everyone. We especially loved the new Disney The Tale of Moana stage show, it’s a beautiful retelling of Moana’s story with incredible music and visuals.

Haunted Mansion Pub
For adults, there’s an entire world of lounges and spaces designed just for grown-ups. We enjoyed evenings at the Skipper Society (a Jungle Cruise-inspired lounge) and Periscope Pub, which gives a nod to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It was the perfect way to wind down after a full day. However, if you know us well, you know our love of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, so we spent a lot of time taking in the Haunted Mansion Parlor!

Ports of Call: Western Caribbean Adventure
This itinerary gave us the best of both worlds, time to explore tropical destinations and time to enjoy the ship itself. Highlights included:

Conzumel
- Cozumel, Mexico – Snorkeling in crystal-clear waters and exploring Mayan ruins.
- George Town, Grand Cayman – A relaxing beach day with some of the Caribbean’s most stunning white sands.
- Falmouth, Jamaica – Vibrant culture, shopping, and a chance to taste authentic Jamaican cuisine.
- Disney Castaway Cay – Disney’s private island paradise where we soaked in the sun, swam in turquoise waters, and biked along peaceful trails.
